I have been fishing Lake Fork since shortly after it opened in 1989. Some of my fondest memories with my dad come from this lake. From night fishing to the spawn to fishing the summer pattern. I have seen it all and tried everything.

Many years later, I was fortunate enough to be able to move to this lake and over the last several years, I have fished more in this time than I ever did before.

Lake Fork is finicky. I have a love/hate relationship with her. One day can be great while the same spots the next day are dead. So, I decided to start making my own soft plastics.

I started off just making what I liked and giving them to my friends to try. But once the Fuzzy Ball obsession became a thing, my wife told me that I would have to find a way to pay for the mold. So, we started Lakeside Lures.

It grew quickly and I enjoy meeting and talking to new fishermen so we decided to give it a shot at a business. Here we are now. We offer quality baits that are tried and tested at a fair price. We will stand by that as long as we’re in business.
